Rafting West Virginia
WV Rafting! White Water Rafting in West Virginia!
New River Rafting — West Virginia
The New River Rafting is considered the world’s second oldest river. It meanders north through North Carolina, Virginia, then finally to West Virginia, and offers a wide variety of white water rafting experiences from a gentle summer float trip to a heart-pounding Class V adventure. Gentle waves and quiet pools can provide a leisurely day on the water.
Gauley River Rafting — WV
A remote canyon, towering sandstone cliffs, steep slopes of brilliant fall foliage- this is the backdrop for West Virginia’s Gauley River, a beautiful river that’s ranked among the Top Ten in the world. On selected dates in September and October, an immense volume of water is released from the Summersville Dam to create exciting Adventure Class rapids downstream for the Middle and Lower sections and World-Class white water rafting on the Upper section.
